If you’ve seen the film _The Revenant —_ or even just [the trailer](http://time.com/4053795/leonardo-dicaprio-new-the-revenant-trailer/) — you know it’s a deeply intense, violent affair. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as a Wyoming frontiersman in the 1800s whose [suffering](http://time.com/4157304/the-revenant-movie-review/) includes getting brutally mauled by a bear. So, like we said, it’s intense.

The movie takes on a decidedly different tone, then, when mashed up with the famously cheery and sunny sitcom _Parks and Recreation._ Writer Demi Adejuyigbe combined the two and shared the video [on Twitter](https://twitter.com/electrolemon/status/684863663010787330/video/1):

The movie, Adejuyigbe explains, frequently mentions the Pawnee people — and Pawnee happens to be the name of the fictional Indiana town where _Parks and Rec_ takes place.
