Celine Dion finished off 2015 by going where many artists have gone this year by covering “Hello” — one of EW’s favorite songs of the year— to a New Year’s Eve audience in Las Vegas.
“So tonight, if I may, I would like Adele to be part of our New Year’s Eve,” Dion remarked. “So don’t panic, she’s not in the building… Do we need to change the battery in my microphone? It kind of lost it a bit. Adele, hello? Hello?”
The concert was part of her Las Vegas residency, which she revived in August after taking time off to care for her ailing husband.
