Anakin Skywalker may be the original angsty Star Wars teenager — after all, his thoughts on sand read like the lyrics from a early 2000s emo song — but a new parody Twitter account makes a pretty good case that The Force Awakens’ new villain, Kylo Ren, is less of a Sith lord and more of a whiny emo kid who just really hates his parents.

(From here on out, there are some major spoilers, so if you haven’t seen The Force Awakens, turn back now.)

Dubbing himself a “Ren’s rights activist,” Emo Kylo Ren (a.k.a. @KyloR3n) is the kind of guy who comments on YouTube videos, rants about sexism, and really, really loves Hot Topic. His Twitter account, which has racked up more than 50,000 followers in just a few days, is filled with diary entries about his budding friendship with Hux and how his parents just don’t understand him.
