Republican presidential hopeful and Seinfeld fan Rand Paul has made it an annual tradition to celebrate Festivus, the parody holiday popularized by the iconic sitcom, on Twitter. And while he’s not exactly Instagramming his Festivus pole, he is taking part in one of the holiday’s most important traditions: the Airing of Grievances. And he’s got a lot of them, aimed at both his fellow candidates and what he deems to be excessive spending by Washington.
He keeps the mood light, of course—the tweets resemble a roast more than an earnest political screed, and he gets some good digs in at the likes of Donald Trump and Carly Fiorina, such as this one: “I have no grievances against my fellow doc @RealBenCarson because I have not heard a word he has said in any debate.”
