The video was posted to Facebook by Paul Jansen and shows the thirsty marsupial lapping up rainwater running from a drain in Adelaide. The city recorded its longest December [heat wave](http://time.com/4124755/natural-disasters-death-united-nations/ "undefined") ever over the weekend, with four consecutive days of temperatures over 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), according to [ABC News](http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-12-21/koala-drinks-from-drain-after-adelaide-heatwave/7045834 "undefined").
