President Obama is holding his traditional year-end news conference at the White House on Friday afternoon.
The President is expected to address reporters at about 1:45 p.m. E.T. His remarks come with the presidential race to succeed him moving into high gear, and as he looks to capitalize on his last year in office with a string of initiatives, including expanded gun restrictions.
