The wearable technology market is set to grow by nearly 50% in 2016, according to research firm IDC. Among the most popular wearable devices: fitness trackers. Made by companies like Fitbit and Jawbone, fitness trackers monitor metrics like your heartbeat, number of steps taken and sleep quality.
