Dec 17, 2015 6:00 PM UTC Kate McKinnon may have made a name for herself impersonating [Hillary Clinton](http://time.com/4065217/hillary-clinton-kate-mckinnon/) on _Saturday Night Live_—and, more recently, TIME’s Person of the Year [Angela Merkel](http://time.com/4146958/angela-merkel-snl-poy/)—but today she debuts a new role: Jillian Holtzmann in the forthcoming _Ghostbusters_ reboot. In her first character poster for the movie, premiering exclusively at TIME, McKinnon sports a polished chrome proton pack, some serious goggles and a stone-cold ghostbusting mug. The _Ghostbusters_ movie, due out July 15, 2016, and directed by Paul Feig of _Bridesmaids_ and _Spy_ fame, breathes new life into the 1984 classic that just this week was [named to](http://time.com/4148272/ghostbusters-and-top-gun-were-just-named-to-the-national-film-registry/) the National Film Registry.
