Jon Stewart stopped by Stephen Colbert’s Late Show last night. Only problem? Colbert told Stewart that no one would listen to what he had to say unless, well, he was Donald Trump.
Stewart tells Colbert he came by the show to make a pitch to Congress to reauthorize health benefits for first responders.
“Boring!” Colbert yells, Deadline reports. “I hate to go pro on you here, but you’ve been out of the game for a while,” he tells Stewart. “That’s got no zazz! No one’s going to listen to you unless you Trump it up a bit. The media won’t pay attention to anything at all, unless you are Donald Trump.”
One Donald Trump wig and some orange Cheetos dust later, Stewart is Trumpified and ready to make his pitch.
