Facebook’s annual “Year in Review” video looks back at the most viral, talked-about events on the social network, from the deadly attacks that took place in Paris to the spread of the Black Lives Matter movement and the upcoming U.S. presidential election. It remembers the famous figures who passed away this year, such as jazz legend B.B. King, actor Omar Sharif (Lawrence of Arabia, Doctor Zhivago) and the “father of Singapore” Lee Kuan Yew, the country’s first and longest-serving prime minister. And it touches on some of the lighter moments of the year, from the never-ending debate over whether #TheDress was white or gold or blue and black to the memes of Chris Pratt, who plays a dinosaur wrangler in Jurassic World.
