Great news, everybody. Saturday Night Live alums Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will return to the show on Dec. 19 — this time as co-hosts. SNL announced the news on Twitter Tuesday:
Yup, comedy’s favorite duo will also be joined by musical guest Bruce Springsteen. If you haven’t watched SNL all season, Dec. 19 is probably the day you should start. As you can see, NBC also announced that Ryan Gosling and Chris Hemsworth will be hosting upcoming episodes — but the excitement is entirely focused on Tina and Amy.
Oh, and their hosting gig comes just one day after their movie Sisters opens — so that’s going to be one very, very exciting weekend.
