Why Everybody’s Excited About This New Star Wars Game

It feels like forever since we’ve had a truly great Star Wars video game. But Star Wars Battlefront looks like it might fit the bill.

Out Nov. 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, Battlefront pits Rebellion soldiers against Imperial forces in familiar Star Wars locales, like Hoth and Endor. It’s all about the multiplayer, with modes ranging from ground combat to aerial dogfights. Some lucky players, too, will get the chance to take control of the game’s “Heroes,” like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.
