Amazon’s hit show Transparent came out with a bang last year, and proved itself as a force to be reckoned with by cleaning up at the Golden Globes, Emmys, Critics’ Choice Awards, and more. The poignant dramedy will be back for season 2 on Friday, Dec. 11, the show announced with a new trailer on its Facebook page Tuesday.
The trailer shows the Pfefferman family and their significant others and close friends posing for a group photo as they playfully banter and quibble — it’s a little like the old Keeping Up With the Kardashians intro. The photo appears to be for a wedding between Sarah and Tammy, who left their husband and wife respectively for each other in season 1.
Suddenly, the light, classical music halts, as the photographer says “sir” in reference to Moira. She is at first in disbelief, and then declares “We’re done” and leads his ex-wife away from the silent group.
Season 2 of Transparent will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Friday, Dec. 11.
