Nov 4, 2015 7:52 PM CUT Comedy Central announced Wednesday that the network was canceling that night’s episode of _The Daily Show_ as host Trevor Noah recuperates from an emergency appendectomy performed earlier in the day. Noah is reportedly recovering well following a successful procedure. The network will instead air a rerun of the nightly program, which Noah took over from previous host Jon Stewart in September.
