Though the Wonder Woman character will be introduced in the upcoming film _Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice,_ the superhero’s solo-debut will hit theaters in 2017\. Gal Gadot is slated to star as Wonder Woman and actor Chris Pine will join the cast as Wonder Woman’s love interest. Kidman’s role has yet to be confirmed, but there’s a high likelihood she’d be cast as Hyppolyta, the Queen of the Amazons, who also happens to be Wonder Woman’s mother. The role would be a good fit for the nearly 6-foot-tall actress. The Oscar winning actress has a full plate already, having just wrapped up the family friendly movie _Paddington_ and preparing for the Nov. 20 release of the thriller _The Secret in Their Eyes_.
