Every October for the past five years, at the behest of Jimmy Kimmel, parents across the U.S. have convinced their children that they ate all of their Halloween candy — and then filmed the ensuing devastation. And after five years, America’s children are none the wiser.
“Every year, I think kids are going to know — they’ve watched these videos, or maybe they’ll be too old to fall for it,” Kimmel said on Monday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, before airing the fifth annual batch of footage. “Every year, there’s a whole new crowd.”
