Raymond Senensi was bitten on Wednesday at Makaha Beach Park in Oahu, [USA Today reports](http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/10/29/hawaii-shark-attack/74845288/ "undefined"). Senensi said he was on a boogie board waiting for a wave when the shark appeared. “I kicked him with this leg and then I kicked him in the nose. And then, I didn’t panic,” [he said](http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/30379018/emergency-crews-responding-to-shark-attack-involving-minor-off-west-oahu "undefined"). Senensi is recovering and due to be released from the hospital shortly.
