Watch Michael J. Fox Critique The Marty McFly Action Figure

Thirty years after Marty McFly traveled to October 21, 2015, to save his children in Back to the Future Part II, he finally got his own action figure. Michael J. Fox, who played McFly in the comedy sci-fi classic, appeared on Wednesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! as part of “Back to the Future Day.” The 54-year-old actor even showed up rocking a pair of the self-lacing Nike Mags the company is putting out in honor of the film.

As part of the celebration for the unofficial holiday, Kimmel revealed that an official Marty McFly action figure is finally going to hit shelves. The late-night host brought one out to show to Fox, who said that it has great details and he likes the overall look of the toy. However, he also said that when he was asked to approve the action figure, he had to have one major design element changed.

“Originally, they had this thing going right up my a–,” Fox said, pointing to a bar used to hold up the doll. “So it’s the non-violated Marty McFly.”
