I was like, ‘That was hilarious.’ ” The comedian joked about marrying the [_American Sniper_](http://www.people.com/article/american-sniper-chris-kyle-story-behind-bradley-cooper-role "undefined") actor during her [opening monologue](http://www.people.com/article/amy-schumer-saturday-night-live-monologue "undefined") on the sketch comedy show Saturday, and Cooper says it’s not the first time he’s been included in her act. “The truth is I remember I met her and then she was on a talk show and made up some story that I pretended to avoid her,” he says. “And when I saw her on the red carpet I was like, ‘Hey man, you made up some bulls— story,’ and she was like ‘Oh I’m sorry,’ ” Cooper explains with a laugh. “So maybe she’s making up for that now … cause I called her on it.” Meanwhile, Cooper is actually dating Russian supermodel Irina Shayk, whom he spent time with this summer vacationing everywhere from the [Italian coast](http://www.people.com/article/Bradley-Cooper-Irina-Shayk-Italy-Beach-PDA "undefined") to the [Jersey shore](http://www.people.com/article/irina-shayk-bradley-cooper-mom-beach-new-jersey-shore-photo "undefined").
