Meet your newest matchmaker, the Little Mermen. The Disney cover band recently dressed up in The Little Mermaid costumes and serenaded random couples in Washington Square Park with “Kiss The Girl” in hopes of getting them to smooch on camera.
Unsuspecting parkgoers were filmed as the New York City group burst into an acoustic version of the song to try to get them to kiss. Some couples obliged, some settled for a peck on the cheek and some didn’t know what to do.
The final count? Seven yeses and two nos.
