While Stars Wars fans everywhere are busy planning their best The Force Awakens Halloween costumes, one twitter user beat everyone to the film’s festive punch with his droid-inspired pumpkin creation.
Daniel Hoogkamp posted a picture of his BB-8 jack-o’-lantern on September 23rd with the caption “Happy first day of Fall!” A new addition to the Stars Wars world, BB-8 is a character who will appear in the upcoming Episode VII installment of the series.
The likeness of the adorable droid was perfectly captured by Hoogkamp’s painted pumpkin, which inspired other Twitter users to try their hand at similar gourd art.
Star Wars‘ website even posted about the fan’s incredible pumpkin creation.
