Ed Sheeran and Ruby Rose will host the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards.
In MTV’s announcement post on its website Thursday, it described Sheeran as the “ginger-hair singer/songwriter/superstar” and Rose as “the VJ/model/”Orange Is The New Black” star.” The two took what MTV describes as a “badass” promo photo for the show, featuring flaming ukeleles, rainbows and dead teddy bears.
This year, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and Nick Jonas are nominated for the best U.S. act category, which last year was won by Fifth Harmony.
Last year’s EMAs were hosted by Nicki Miniaj and saw a 17% ratings spike, becoming the most widely distributed show in MTV EMA history, according to MTV.
This year’s EMAs will air on October 25, broadcast from Milan, Italy.
