Though Back to the Future turns 30 years old this year, Doc Brown’s adventures are far from over.
Christopher Lloyd is reprising his iconic role for a new journey in the teaser for an upcoming short, titled Doc Brown Saves the World.
The short will be included in the Back to the Future trilogy Blu-ray and DVD 30th anniversary release. In this sneak peek, which you can see above, Doc Brown is seen stepping out of his DeLorean into an all-white room while he fiddles with a device.
What’s the good Doc up to? We’ll have to wait to find out, but if you can’t get enough of Lloyd stepping back into Doc Brown’s shoes, he also voices the character in the newly released Lego Dimensions video game and in Telltale Games’ Back to the Future game series, which will see a re-release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on Oct. 13. Lloyd himself will also be on hand for two special screenings of BTTF being held Oct. 15-16 at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.
The Back to the Future trilogy DVD and Blu-ray releases will be available on Oct. 21.
