Rannells appeared on Wednesday night’s episode of _The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon_ to promote his new movie, _The Intern,_ in which he co-stars with De Niro and Anne Hathaway. He told Fallon the story of his attempt to play it cool the first time he spoke with De Niro. “We’re on set and we’re sitting next to each other and my version of normal was to just start cursing like I had Tourettes,” Rannells said.
