Representatives for Schumer did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Schumer follows in the recent tradition of successful women comedians publishing highly anticipated memoirs. Hits in the genre have included Tina Fey’s [_Bossypants_](http://www.amazon.com/dp/0316056871/?tag=timecom-20)_,_ Amy Poehler’s [_Yes Please_](http://www.amazon.com/dp/006226835X/?tag=timecom-20) and Mindy Kaling’s [_Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?_](http://www.amazon.com/dp/0804138141/?tag=timecom-20) Schumer’s news comes just days after her Comedy Central show _Inside Amy Schumer_ won Outstanding Variety Sketch Series at the Emmys.
