It turns out contestants in the Miss. America pageant aren’t the only ones who struggle with questions about current events.
In a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, pedestrians buckled under pressure. In response to a question about which woman should have her face on the $10 dollar bill, one pedestrian couldn’t muster a single name, instead saying “not good under pressure,” “ah,” and “oh my gosh.” Another suggested Princess Diana.
Despite Kimmel’s focus on pedestrians, the Miss America pageant contestants didn’t escape unscathed. Kimmel rolled out his infamous chalk board to illustrate how the newly-crowned Miss America’s answer made no sense.
“That was her answer and she won!” he said.
