The L.A. County district attorney’s office filed a felony complaint for warrant Thursday for Andre Salaman Bautista, who goes by Andre Bauth, for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, a spokesman for the D.A.’s office confirmed to EW. A man who identified himself as the stabbing victim, 23-year-old actor Clayton Haymes, [told KCBS-TV Channel 2](http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2015/09/10/emmy-award-winning-producer-accused-of-stabbing-actor-in-studio-city/) that Bautista, his landlord and manager, attacked him early Tuesday morning over an argument about winning Oscars. Haymes had returned home with his roommates after dinner and drinks, he said, when Bautista boasted that he would someday win five Oscars. “When he said ‘five Oscars,’ we all just kind of laughed a little bit, and he got really upset,” Haymes told KCBS. According to Haymes, Bautista then chased him into a room, swung a knife at him, stabbed him, and fled. “I just don’t understand why he would want to do this to me because we’re friends,” Haymes said. Bautista won a Daytime Emmy earlier this year as a producer on the soap opera _The Bay_. He and Haymes both have roles in an independent movie Bautista produced, [_El Landlord_](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=%5F0DA-QW7%5F-E).
