Even in slow motion, lightning moves quickly. But new video footage from National Park Service ranger Erin Whittaker gives fans of the outdoors a closer look at what happens when stormy weather moves into the Grand Canyon. Tourists who make plans to visit the national park probably cross their fingers for good, photo-taking weather, but as this brief clip shows, the views can be just as stunning even when it’s not all blue skies.
