As it turns out, “[who shot first?](http://www.ew.com/article/2015/06/09/star-wars-script-han-solo-shot-first)” isn’t the only pressing question from the [_Star Wars_](http://www.ew.com/article/2015/09/03/benicio-del-toro-star-wars-episode-viii) universe.

Is it possible for a Jedi to deflect blaster shots with a lightsaber? Is Obi-wan Kenobi’s “high ground” reasoning for besting Anakin in _Episode III_ actually a thing? [_MythBusters_](http://www.ew.com/article/2015/08/27/mythbusters-breaking-bad-finale-trunk-machine-gun) examines these elements of the galaxy far, far away in its latest episode, and you can get a sneak peek at the _MythBusting_ to come.

The _Los Angeles Times_ [released a clip from “The Myths Strike Back,”](http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/herocomplex/la-et-hc-star-wars-mythbusters-20150905-story.html)as well as a brief interview with hosts Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage. The two were conflicted about testing scientific theories on such a fantastical world. “But what we found, what we ended up doing in the episode, were stories we felt we could utilize the world of _Star Wars_ to help the audience understand where a scientific approach can answer genuine questions from a fictional universe,” Savage said.

At the end of the day, if anyone is going to nit-pick a movie, that movie might as well be _Star Wars_. “In another clip, Savage, further testing the validity of these theories, watches _Star Wars_ to measure just how fast the lasers travel when fired from blasters.”
