Roger that: TBS has renewed American Dad! for two more seasons.
The network announced today that it had ordered 44 additional episodes of the animated family comedy from Seth MacFarlane, which will keep it on the air through a 13th season in 2018.
American Dad! has thrived in its new home after Fox dropped the series — which includes a patriotic patriarch, an acerbic alien, and a talking goldfish — after a nine-season run in 2013. TBS premiered Season 10 last fall, and the series became basic cable’s No. 1 scripted series on Mondays at 9 p.m. among adults 18-34, and drew almost 4 million viewers (counting repeats on TBS and Adult Swim, which airs each episode after it debuts on its sister network, as well as on-demand, digital and other platforms).
The previously ordered season 11 of American Dad! will debut on TBS early next year.
