Brian Rickett of Cabot, Arkansas, uploaded a video of his cat Philo (named after the philosopher) opening the front door of his house like a human would, even though Rickett built a cat door. In a description of the Aug. 18 clip on YouTube, Rickett says he spent an hour and a half installing the opening.
Maybe the cat was just afraid of getting stuck and then getting humiliated on the Internet as that 26-pound orange tabby cat was in 2013— an accident that was watched more than 1.7 million times on YouTube:
