The Real-Life Carrie Bradshaw’s Apartment Will Only Cost You $2.65 Million

1 minute read

New York’s Candace Bushnell, whose 1990s sex column provided the basis of Sex and the City, has put her chic Greenwich Village co-op apartment on the market.

The one-bedroom, 1.5 bath is certainly more spacious than her alter ego Carrie Bradshaw’s Upper East Side abode, and has an elegant, high-ceilinged living room with a fireplace, built-in bookshelves, and three large, arched windows facing south. Appropriately, Chris Noth — Mr. Big himself — lives in the same full-service, pre-war building.

Listed at $2.65 million, it’s nothing Carrie could probably ever afford, even if she learned how to save money and auctioned off all of her Manolos.

So as the new tenant takes possession of the glamorous one-bedroom, the rest of us can’t help but wonder: Can an apartment be your soulmate — and is this the one that got away?
