Taylor Swift Has Absolutely No Bad Blood With Her Adorable Newborn Godson

Taylor Swift has been getting into all kinds of drama lately, but she appears to be on very good terms, at least so far, with her new godson, Leo. He’s the son of actress Jaime King (one of Swift’s close friends) and her husband, Kyle Newman.

Swift posted a photo of her first meeting with baby Leo. People are really excited, because the photo has already earned 1.6 million likes:

Look at that loving gaze. That’s the kind of gaze that says, “If anyone ever crosses you, I will hunt them down and I will write a revenge song about them and I will start several Twitter feuds over it.”

The singer posted another adorable picture of Leo’s tiny hand wrapped around her finger. She used lyrics from her song “Never Grow Up” as the caption:

“Choosing a godmother is a very sacred and important thing in our family,” King told Elle back in March. “They’re going to be guiding your child, and they’re responsible for them if something was to ever happen.”

King said Swift will be “the perfect godmother” thanks to her “thoughtfulness, her kindness, her authenticity.” And also, we assume, because she’s going to get baby Leo invited to so many awesome parties.
