[Caitlyn Jenner](http://www.people.com/people/news/category/0,,personsTax:CaitlynJenner,00.html) paid tribute to two transgender women in [a post on her website](http://caitlynjenner.com/2015/07/in-loving-memory-of-india-clarke-and-k-c-haggard/) on Tuesday night. 

In the post, the former Olympian wrote about India Clarke and K.C. Haggard, two transgender women who were murdered last week. 

“\[Eleven\] trans women have been killed in the United States in the past six months – most of them trans women of color,” Jenner wrote. 

“My condolences to those who loved India, K.C., and all of the other victims,” she continued. “No one should be killed simply because they are transgender. 

Haggard, 66, was stabbed to death in Fresno, California, on July 23\. [_The Advocate_](http://www.advocate.com/transgender/2015/07/27/these-are-trans-women-killed-so-far-us-2015) reports that police are investigating her death as a homicide, but Karen Adell Scot of TransCare [told KFSN](http://abc30.com/news/most-wanted-tattoo-shop-catches-central-fresno-stabbing-on-surveillance-video/877089/) that “it was a hate crime.” 

Clarke, 25, was found dead near a playground in Florida on July 21, the [_Tampa Bay Times_](http://www.tampabay.com/news/publicsafety/crime/friends-family-remember-transgender-murder-victim-india-clarke/2238371) reports. 

_Orange Is the New Black_ star [Laverne Cox](http://www.people.com/people/news/category/0,,personsTax:LaverneCox,00.html) shared a pic of Clarke [on Instagram](https://instagram.com/p/5cDmugih%5F-/?taken-by=lavernecox), writing, “She was only 25 years old and clearly into all things beauty hair and makeup just like me. I can’t help but feel like I’m next. That’s why I do the work I do because the avg. life expectancy for someone like me is only 35 years old.”
