Amazon Launchpad, announced on Tuesday, creates an “Amazon Launchpad store” that will showcase start-up products and provide the makers with marketing and distribution support. Start-up products featured in the store include the [Soma Sustainable Pitcher and Plant-Based Water Filter](http://www.amazon.com/Soma-Sustainable-Pitcher-Plant-Based-Filter/dp/B00WFY7I2C/ref=lp%5F12034491011%5F1%5F2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1438101727&sr=1-2 "undefined"), [Rumpl High-Performance Indoor/Outdoor Blanket](http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=lp%5F12034488011%5Fln%5F3?node=12034491011&ie=UTF8&qid=1438101723 "undefined"), [Casper Mattress](http://www.amazon.com/Casper-King-Mattress/dp/B00XHWK6NE/ref=lp%5F12034491011%5F1%5F13?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1438101727&sr=1-13 "undefined"), and [eero Home Wifi System](http://www.amazon.com/eero-A010101-Home-WiFi-System/dp/B00Y01VRSO/ref=lp%5F12034490011%5F1%5F45?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1438101845&sr=1-45 "undefined"), among others. So far, the store boasts more than 200 products from more than 25 accelerators, crowd-funding platforms, and venture capital firms. “We…know from talking to startups that bringing a new product to market successfully can be just as challenging as building it,” Amazon Vice President Jim Adkins said in a [press release](http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=176060&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=2071679 "undefined"). The Launchpad aims to smooth over that process by taking care of order fulfillment and customer service for start-ups. As a part of the launchpad, start-ups can offer their Amazon Prime customers free shipping. “Amazon Launchpad gives customers access to a dedicated storefront featuring a variety of innovative new products from emerging brands.
