The Weeknd Is Ready For His Close-Up in ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ Video

1 minute read

Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, used to eschew media attention, keeping his identity anonymous and refusing to do interviews as he peddled his brand of dark, scandalous R&B. But between last fall’s Ariana Grande collaboration “Love Me Harder,” his Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack contribution “Earned It” and his upcoming album Beauty Behind the Madness, he’s on his way to becoming one of the biggest male pop stars in an era dominated by divas.
