A new Oscar Mayer ad spoofs over-the-top fitness classes, mostly found in big cities. The deli meat brand says it created a fake workout called “FRIQ” — pronounced “freak” — to see how far New Yorkers would go to keep up with the latest exercise trends. At one point, the hyper-active instructor orders the students to wrap themselves in bubble wrap, roll around the floor and pop bubbles as fast as they can. Although we have to admit, that actually sounds pretty fun to us. If only it worked. Sigh.
