However, now that she’s on her own and free to live a more authentic life as a woman, she has been striving to become a better parent – and to her children, it shows. “I’ve known [Bruce](http://www.people.com/people/news/category/0,,personsTax:BruceJenner,00.html) for a long time and I didn’t really get along with Bruce,”[Brody Jenner](http://www.people.com/people/brody%5Fjenner) – Caitlyn’s son with Linda Thompson – [told E!
