[ APPLAUSE ] [ MUSIC ] Quasimodo, a ten- year- old mutt with spinal problems was the winner of this Deers world's ugliest dog contest. But Carson wanted to turn her in to the beauty queen we all knew she could become. Quasi was treated to a massage and a pedicure, tried out a bunch of glamorous wigs, and got a whole new wardrobe. We're actually kind of jealous. As the Washington Post notes, the oddly shaped pooch beat out 26 other ugly dogs for the top prize of $ 1, 500. She's half a dog. She was born without vertebrae. The ones she has are kind of fused together. So she has these beautiful long legs that don't fit this little half body. The pitbull dutch shephard mix used that unique look to win the contest held at the Sonoma Morin Fairgrounds, an event center in Petaluma, California.
