As Lynch’s love of Skittles is well-known, O’Brien set up an “end zone” full of the fruity candy and encouraged the football player to jump in backwards — which happens to be Lynch’s signature move. Lynch was more than keen and, unsurprisingly, O’Brien was only too happy to join him. ## Transcript Now, we're pretty sure if there's one thing Marshawn Lynch loves more than football, it's Skittles. You heard right. Skittles. And on Conan Monday night, he got a chance to not only taste the rainbow, but dive straight into it. I just got you the ball. That's the end zone right there. The game's on the line. [ APPLAUSE ] [ MUSIC ] [ APPLAUSE ] Apparently the last time Marshawn hung out with Conan O'Brien, they discussed those little rainbow- colored candies quite a bit. So naturally, Conan just had to get a giant pool full of them when he learned Marshawn was coming on the show. How sweet? So just where did Marcheons epic love for Skittles come from you ask? Well that's thanks to his mom Dulisa back when he would play football as a kid she would keep some power pellets in her purse and give them to him before games. Dulisa told Seahawks. com I would give him a handful of Skittles and say Eat 'em up. Baby. They're going to make you run fast and they're going to make you play good. Which turned into a tradition for him in college, and then in the NFL. Okay, that is incredibly adorable. And fans have really embraced Marshawn and his Skittles obsession.
