The emo stalwart, led by Chris Carrabba, is currently touring, and Carrabba told _Entertainment Weekly_ that they plan to release new material on an as-yet-unplanned timeline. “I imagine I’ll probably start writing any minute now,” Carrabba [told _EW_](http://www.ew.com/article/2015/06/19/chris-carrabba-new-dashboard-confessional-album "undefined"). As for why the world needs new material from a band that’s been quiet for six years, Carrabba said: “I need it like I need chocolate and beer.
