Terminator Genisys doesn’t hit theaters until July 1, but some fans recently had an early, up-close encounter with its star. Actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger pretended to be the wax figure of the “Terminator,” spooking visitors at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood. He also walked down the street staring down costumed actors impersonating his famous character and told tourists to get out of the way: “Please don’t bump my selfie stick.”
It is his latest viral stunt to raise money for the After-School All-Stars program through Omaze.com, which plans after-school activities for underprivileged children. Past efforts include pretending to be a trainer at Gold’s Gym, the renowned Brooklyn boxing gym, and offering to let a volunteer ride shotgun with him in a M47 tank while he runs over everything in sight.
