Caitlyn Jenner, who recently graced the cover of Vanity Fair discussing her gender transition, tweeted her thanks to transgender actress Laverne Cox for her support throughout the process.

Cox was one of the first trans women to play a major role in American television, starring in the Netflix hit Orange Is the New Black. She was also the first trans women to be nominated for an Emmy for her acting.

Fans of the pair also showed their love and support via Twitter.
