Microsoft showed off new multiplayer gameplay footage from the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians at E3 2015 Monday.
Halo 5, developed by 343 Industries and published by Microsoft, will be available exclusively on Xbox One, said Bonnie Ross, head of 343 Industries, during Microsoft’s presentation. Halo fans were treated to a glimpse of the new Warzone multiplayer mode, which features up to 24 players and artificial intelligence-controlled enemies.
Additional features were also added to the single-player mode, such as squad-based shooter mechanics. Firefly actor Nathan Fillion is reprising his role as a voice actor on the franchise.
Halo 5 will launch on Xbox One on Oct. 27.
