Here’s the First Look at Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig’s Dramatic Lifetime Movie

Two of Hollywood’s biggest comedians, Will Ferrell and Kirsten Wiig, are indeed starring in a Lifetime movie called A Deadly Adoption, which will air on June 20. The first trailer for the “top secret” film is out, and it’s hard to tell whether it looks more like one of the network’s overly soapy dramas or an SNL sketch—or both.

Ferrell and Wiig have kept the project largely under wraps. Ferrell even issued a statement to Entertainment Weekly earlier this year saying that he and his co-star were “deeply disappointed” that news of the “top secret” project had leaked to the press, and said they were scrapping it. And yet, here is the first trailer filled with the sort of tension and ridiculous beard-growing a Lifetime fan could hope for.
