Meet the revamped Powerpuff Girls, coming to Cartoon Network in 2016.
Fans of the original series can take comfort in the fact that Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup still sport the same wide eyes and signature hairstyles they rocked during their initial run—but behind that familiar look is a whole new sound. Amanda Leighton, Kristen Li, and Natalie Palamides will voice Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, respectively. Tom Kenny returns as the Narrator/Mayor.
Original cast members Cathy Cavadini (Blossom), Tara Strong (Bubbles), and Elizabeth Daily (Buttercup) have already tweeted about the news.
Check out the first images of the new cast, which were shared on Cartoon Network’s Facebook page.
