A new trailer has dropped for The Walk, where Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays tightrope walker Philippe Petit, who successfully walked between the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers in 1974. The new trailer provides dizzying views of tightrope walking and expands on the challenges Petit faced leading up to his walk. Though the film isn’t a thriller, per se, it is pretty nerve-wracking.
“When people ask me, Why do you risk death, for me this is life,” Gordon-Levitt’s Petit explains.
The only thing scarier than him potentially falling is, perhaps, his French accent.
The Walk hits theaters October 2.
