The new edition of Fifty Shades of Grey, as told from billionaire entrepreneur Christian Grey’s perspective, has already shot to the top of Barnes & Noble and Amazon bestseller lists.
E.L. James, the author of the successful series, announced the impending arrival of Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian on Monday. According to a statement, James dedicated the book to her fans in the opening page saying, “This book is dedicated to those readers who asked… and asked… and asked… and asked for this.”
“Christian is a complex character,” James said in the statement, “and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past. Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story.”
Grey will officially be available on June 18 (the fictional character’s birthday), but fans can pre-order their copy today.
