Because of an edict from Jamie Lee Curtis’ dean, the cocktail-sipping mean girls in Kappas—led by Emma Roberts, rocking a ton of pastel—must take everyone who wants to join. “You’re about to get hazed harder than a suburban banquet hall during bat mitzvah season,” Roberts announces to the motley crew, which includes a girl who eats candle wax and Lea Michele. Then a girl’s head gets mowed off and someone in a red devil costume starts running around. Hey—at least Nick Jonas doesn’t seem fazed. (He also doesn’t wear a shirt.) Creator Ryan Murphy [told _Entertainment Weekly_](http://www.ew.com/article/2015/04/23/scream-queens-first-look) that _Scream Queens_ is “_Heathers_ meets _Friday the 13th_,” and the comment rings especially true based on the trailer.
