So when Aussie actor Hugh Jackman stopped by the show Monday night, he decided to teach Fallon the way Australians really eat the stuff. “I’ve got a bit of a bone to pick with you, man,” Jackman said. “You were talking a bit of smack last week about Vegemite.” Jackman explains that Fallon simply ate the spread in the wrong way. To correct this, he pulls out some white bread, a toaster, some butter and a jar of Vegemite. He demonstrates the traditional Australian Vegemite-eating ritual — and once Fallon tries it, his face lights up. “Much better! Oh, that’s fantastic.” Jackman even runs over to house band The Roots and lets Questlove take a bite.
